Planting Instructions

When planting, always use a root supplement such as Myke to help root developement and growth. Dig a hole at least a couple of inches wider than the pot and a few inches deeper. Add your root supplement. Place your roots ball into the hole on top of the supplement. Fill in the hole around the sides and over the top of the roots with soil you dug out and add fresh soil if needed. It is very important to keep the soil around the plant well watered and moist in the first year during establishment.

The two most popular times to plant are during the spring and fall. This does not necessarily mean they are the best though. A container grown plant can be planted at any time during the growing season. Most people choose to plant during the spring and fall because of temperature. Planting in mid-summer generally means more care because the hotter weather means more watering and being more attentive to the plant.
