Caring for Philodendron

 Light Needs

Monstera thrives in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch its gorgeous leaves, so place it near a sunny window with a sheer curtain for the best results. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly and develop fewer splits in its leaves.

  Watering

Water your Monstera when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. During warmer months, this might mean watering weekly, while in winter, you may need to scale back. Avoid letting it sit in water; a pot with drainage holes is a must to prevent root rot.
