Landscape Carpenter

What we are looking for:

Lacoste Garden Centre's landscape division is looking for full time and seasonal carpenters! We need an experienced, or eager to learn carpenter who enjoys working as a team, and occasionally independently to create beautiful outdoor living spaces.
 

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in a wide range of carpentry projects
• Experience working independently and in teams
• Safety conscious, able to keep a worksite safe and clean
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Engaging and outgoing personality
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 50lbs, up to 100lbs, bend and carry for long periods of time and be able to handle the physical parameters including in working outdoors in all elements
 

Job Summary

The landscape carpenter will play a key role in constructing and installing outdoor features that enhance resitdential and commercial landscapes.  Working closely with the landscaping team, this position involves preparing sites, assembling structures and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project.  The carpenter will interpret plans, work with various materials, and use a range of tolls to complete installations efficiently and safely.  Clear communication and teamwork will be essential to maintaining workflow and delivering exceptional outdoor spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cutting and fastening of wood products, along with foundation preparation to create outdoor carpentry products.
• Communicating with peers to ensure tasks are being completed effeciently.
• Operating various tools - applicants can expect to be using skill saws, table saw, driller, augers and hand tools daily.
• Provide delivery of various lumber materials from suppliers to the worksite and work for installation
• Secure adherence to the company's rules and safety regulations
